It’s happening, y’all!

We met through mutual friends at a group hangout at the movies on New Years Day. Peter didn't talk to me very much so I totally thought that he was not interested and when we parted ways I did not expect to hear or see him again. - L

After Peter had come up from Florida where he was living at the time to visit with his cousin. Without telling him his cousin had set up a double date with himself, his girlfriend, and me. But he conveniently forgot to mention to Peter about the date so he had made other plans, so later that night they worked it out that we would all meet up for desert. We hit it off and after he returned to Florida we had decided to keep a long distance relationship since he was already planning on moving up to VA to join the NNPD. - L

We went to Colonial Williamsburg after church for lunch and just to walk around on a beautiful December Sunday. While we were walking we found ourselves at the end of a gravel lane and by a green pasture with sheep peacefully grazing and one releaving herself in the corner under the shade of a pine tree. Then I knelt down on one knee and looked up at the most beautiful woman I have ever seen and asked, “Lourdes Grace Knapp, will you be my Wife” as tears welled up in her eyes, she said “oh my gosh…yeah!”. - P
