Question
Which hotel should I stay at?
Answer
There won't be any planned events at either hotel, so you won't be missing out on anything either way! The Carpenter Hotel is very cool boutique hotel and of course has meaning to us. There is a nice little pool, a bar, a coffee shop, and restaurant. The Lady Bird Lake trail, and Barton Springs pool, are both walking distance. The Embassy Suites is right on South Congress, where it is the most fun to shop, walk around and be a tourist. It is also walking distance to a different section of Lady Bird Lake trail, and South Congress Bridge where the famous bats live. If this is your first time to Austin, you may enjoy the location of the Embassy Suites. Carpenter is for you if you're more familiar with Austin and down to hang at the hotel.

How do we get to the ceremony & reception?
Answer
We are providing buses from Embassy Suites and Carpenter Hotel to The Grand Lady, and from the reception back to the hotels. You can still use the bus to and from Carpenter Hotel if you are not staying at either hotel! The Grand Lady is located about 25 miles from downtown, in Manor, Texas. It will be easy to get a Lyft or Uber from Austin to Manor but we can't promise it will be easy to get a ride from Manor back to Austin. To really get in the party mood, you can even book a one-way Limo for $240, for 14 people. (https://www.limosondemand.com/) If you aren't staying at the hotels, getting an Uber or Lyft from the hotels to and from anywhere else in Austin will be easy.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is some parking at the Grand Lady, but we recommend finding a ride or using the buses.

Why a Sunday?
Answer
Since their relationship began, Sundays have been Peter and Liz's shared day off. Sundays are the typical day off for the service industry, so from the early days of cooking together, to Liz's retail schedule, to her normie 9-5 office job, this is their one day of overlap, and when the best memories are made. We went on dates on Sundays, got engaged on a Sunday, it's only fitting we also get married on a Sunday.

What should I wear?
Answer
Short Answer: Cocktail Attire. Long Answer: We want you to dress fun and fancy. Wear whatever excites you, whether it is that dress with a crazy silhouette hanging in your closet just waiting for the right occasion, or a vintage suit you hesitate to buy because you have no idea when you'd wear it. Wear that to our wedding.
