Sarah is Layne's older sister. They grew up playing house, Survivor, and Harry Potter. Now they hang out at each other's houses, still watch Survivor, and never discuss Harry Potter (Layne never read the books). Though life is always changing, Sarah is a constant in Layne's life.
Joe Callstrom
Wedding Party
Joe is Peter's older brother. Peter was the classic annoying little brother to Joe growing up -- and he still is. Despite this, Joe is taking the high road and being there for Peter on his special day. Be more like Joe, folks. Let Peter bug the heck out of you and still be there for him. Thanks, Joe.
Molly Kriesel

Molly is Layne's childhood bestie. Layne could often be found knocking on the Kriesel's front door to see if Molly could hangout. Maybe that is why Molly now lives several hours away from Layne... When they are together, they can be found drinking wine, hiking, traveling, and giggling.
Brendan Coker

Brendan and Peter met in the 5th grade, but they were both too weird to figure out how to be friends at that stage in their lives. In the 6th grade, they became (arguably) a little less weird and figured out how to make it work. To this day, they still enjoy getting together and being just real darn good buds.
Claire Coker

Claire is Layne's pseudo twin, made believable by the fact that they grew up with the same middle and last names (Elizabeth Anderson). It is truly amazing they got anything done while working together in a lab and that they are still such close friends after sharing a studio apartment in college involving a trundle bed.
Pat Godfrey

Pat and Peter have been friends for a long time. They played soccer together back in high school and lived together during and just after college. They keep in touch on a regular basis and see no end to telling each other the most astonishingly dumb jokes two people can make.
Jenn Holmquist

Jenn was one of Layne's first Denver friends through AmeriCorps. Jenn has always been the voice of reason for their group of friends, fondly referred to as the goon squad, so it makes sense that she is already an incredible mother. Layne misses living within blocks of Jenn even though it means less losing in Dutch Blitz.
Tal Quetone

Tal is Peter's pal. They met in the 6th grade and the rest is history. Tal lives in California right now, which is too far away. But Tal is close to Peter's heart, so that helps. Tal is the best.
Faria Ahmed

Faria was another fast friend Layne made through AmeriCorps. Regular coffee shop study days while they were both in school (Faria for genetic counseling, Layne for medicine) was how Layne got through med school and did not lose her sanity - cue the gabbing and giggling every time Layne started to doze off.
Sander Anderson
Wedding Party
Sander is Layne's brother and Peter's soon-to-be brother-in-law. Sander and his wife Ashley have been very welcoming to Peter despite Peter's weirdness. Sander and Peter get along like buds and soon they will get along like brothers.
Ashley Anderson

Ashley is Layne's sister-in-law. Layne knew her brother found a winner for many reasons including her taste in music, her ability to give a good book recommendation, and how she graciously allowed him, a snowboarder who hadn't been on skis in over 20 years, to try and teach her how to ski on a CO mountain. An angel.
Tom Wilmes

Tom is Layne's sister Sarah's husband and Peter's soon-to-be brother-in-law. Tom and Peter were fast friends and enjoy hanging out at every get-together (at least Peter thinks so). Tom and Peter also shred the gnar together (see picture).
Lyndsey Womack
Officiant
Layne met Lyndsey and her now wife, Kallie, while living in Denver. They became fast friends through going to Denver Community Church and breweries together. Layne has always been inspired by Lyndsey and how she lives out her faith, within ministry and outside of the church.
