It was a crisp, autumn night when Peter and Kristina first laid eyes on each other while attending a movie night in the backyard of their mutual friend, Chris Rockriver. Newly single and ready to socialize, Peter began to mingle and enjoy the festivities by having a few drinks. Kristina, arriving fashionably late and full of nerves, beelined straight for the punch bowl. There they bantered and laughed until, unaware of how much he already had to drink, Kristina peer-pressured Peter to have another glass. His cheeks flushed bright red, and she teased him, but really she thought he was rather cute. As the night progressed and the party started winding down, the remaining friends gathered to watch (and laugh at) Troll 2. During the movie, Peter couldn’t keep his eyes off Kristina and decided to make an effort to stay in touch with her.

A couple of months of getting to know each other passed, and Kristina finally admitted that things were getting serious between her and Peter. After spending the day together and getting artisanal peanut butter sandwiches at Grand Central Market, Kristina and Peter became boyfriend and girlfriend.

The years passed. Peter and Kristina shared countless laughs, joyful moments, and difficult circumstances, but despite the changing seasons of life, there was one thing the couple always knew: they wanted to spend their lives together. One of their first dates was at Lake Balboa Park, where the couple strolled along the water and played Mario Kart against each other on their Nintendo Switches. Later, that was where Peter proposed.

Kristina and Peter are excited to celebrate their deep bond and commitment to each other with all their friends and loved ones.
