Red Rocks is a public park. However, there usually are concerts in the evening, consequently the venue closes to the public by 2pm. We want to start the garden party in the evening to have more favorable temps to be outside and to later enjoy the bonfires.
The total attendance count does not matter as much at Red Rocks. So, RSVP for the ceremony is not necessary. However, for food etc. we want a fairly accurate count for the party.
The theme is backyard PARTY!! There will be an amazing food truck, LIVE music, picnic tables and bonfires. Most importantly we want to celebrate our union with all of you awesome peeps.
Please arrive by 12:30. Since there will be a concert the same night, the park will close by 2pm for all visitors including our group. We are a bit in a gray zone as the park does not allow big groups. But we figure we'd rather ask for forgiveness rather than permission. Keep in mind also that there is limited parking on the very top of Red Rocks (Entrance 1). There are four total entrances to Red Rocks. The only one where you can drive ALL the way to the top is "Entrance 1." You might need to park one level down at Entrance 1, which should take about 10 minutes to walk to the venue. Entrance 2, 3 and 4 will all take about a 10-12 min hike to the top.
Considering this is not a "traditional" wedding, instead we will have a back yard party after the ceremony. So come in a summer outfit that you feel great in. Think WHITE LOTUS. No matter what, it is important to us for you to be there and you WILL be beautiful. We will be wearing matching suits, so we look extra cute!!
We have a couple of recommendations in the area. Both are located in the area of Denver known as LOHI, which is home to many fun bars, restaurants and coffee shops and short drive away from our wedding celebration. Residence Inn Denver located at 2777 Zuni Street. Their phone number is 303-458-5318. The Artesian by Sonder located at 3282 Tejon Street. Their phone number is 617-300-0956. This hotel does not have designated parking, so keep that in mind. Both can also be located on line or on booking platforms like Expedia or Booking.com. There are also many Airbnb's in the area
Absolutely! However, there will be no vegan options.
No we are not! In lieu of gifts we request you either donate to one of these causes we are passionate about OR you may contribute to our art fund, found on the registry section of Zola. We would love to buy a piece of art for our new home to commemorate the celebration. Causes we are passionate about: https://nqttcn.com/en/donate/
We live in a neighborhood with no parking restrictions You may park and even leave your car overnight. However, if all of our guests drive you may be walking a bit. Also - if you are staying in the LOHI neighborhood its a $10 to $15 Uber/Lyft. Why not have a chauffeur?
