We met through mutual friends at Purdue University in Spring 2013. A few weeks later, we were paired up as buddies through our Fraternity and Sorority for the annual Grand Prix festivities. We went on our first date later that year in September. We graduated a couple years apart, so we dated long-distance for a little while. Peter took a job in Midland, Texas after graduation and Kendall joined him as soon as she could. We moved a couple years later to Fort Worth, Texas, where we purchased a home and adopted our sweet boys - Charlie, our Poodle, and Wilson, our Australian Shepherd. Peter proposed on the beach in Casey Key, Florida on October 17, 2020. We took our first trip as a couple there in 2015 and got engaged at the same tiny, beach inn where we stayed all those years before.
Our wedding venue is very special in that it is completely owned and operated by the Center for Transforming Lives. All of the proceeds from the events held there benefit women and children by helping them break the cycle of poverty.
