Jared Andre

Peter first met Jared in the dorms of Anacapa at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The two remained close friends throughout their medical training in New York City. Peter often spent time every summer since college with the Andre family at their beautiful beach home on Lake Michigan. Jared is currently an attending internal medicine physician in Boston, along with his wonderful wife, Lucia, and his newborn son, Dylan.
Tom Shed

Peter’s older brother. Peter grew up with Tom as his role model. Peter says he developed his love of basketball and hip-hop music trying to emulate Tom. Tom was always selfless with his time and energy knowing this his little brothers were watching him.
Jimmy Sofia
Groomsman
Peter’s younger brother. Peter and Jimmy often spent time together as children playing video games and sports. Peter remembers some of his fondest memories are watching Jimmy as he rose up the ranks in high school football and college Rugby at Cal State Fullerton. Peter says he is constantly impressed by his younger brother's drive and ambition, even now as he rises through the ranks of his new federal government position.
David Bissing

Peter and David develop a close relationship as they began as interns in the anesthesiology residency at Loyola University Chicago. Peter credits his success in residency due to close relationships he developed with his co-residents. David is now completing his Cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, and soon to be fellow at the University of Chicago for critical care medicine.
Jared Hooks

Peter and Jared, along with David, all formed a close bond and competitive relationship as they moved through the ranks of their residency. Peter often relied on Jared’s sense of humor and constant selflessness to keep he and the rest of his group of friends grounded through good and tough times in residency. Jared is currently completing his cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship at Loyola.
Christian Wenger

Christian became one of Peter’s close friends through college as Christian, Sina, and Kris were at UCLA. Peter says some of his favorite memories from college were visiting the boys at UCLA. Christian and Peter remained close friends through the years. Peter says that Christian was always supportive throughout their friendship and always has wise words over a glass of scotch and a cigar. Peter often visited Christian and Sina in his trips back to LA, and has always considered the two as part of his extended family. Christian lives in LA with his beautiful girlfriend, Aubrey.
Sina Amiri

Sina and Peter became close friends during college and their friendship continued throughout medical school and beyond. In addition to his trips to LA, Sina even spent time in the Midwest for work, visiting Peter in Chicago nearly every weekend. Peter says that Sina is one of those rare people who is always willing to give you the shirt off his back and time and time again has shown his heart is always with his friends and family. Along with Chrisitian, Sina lives in LA with his amazing fiancé, Lexi.
