Bride
My name is Kalianna Lundin and I’m 21 years old. I am graduating from Whitworth in May 2019 with a BA in Psychology to pursue a career in Special Education. I LOVE animals and going camping with my friends & family. During the school year, I work 2 part time jobs waitressing at Ferraro’s Italian restaurant and contracting claims at The Guardian life Insurance. During my summers, I lead a day camp program for the City of Spokane Valley. Peter and I technically met 15 years ago in first grade at our private Christian school, but we didn’t start dating until 6 years ago. It’s been a long ride, and over the years, our relationship has only grown stronger for each other and through this, ultimately, with Christ. We plan to live in Post Falls and are so excited to see you at our summer wedding!
Groom
My name is Peter Dowers and I am 22 years old. Currently, I am a licensed home inspector in the Spokane/Coeur D’Alene area working with Todd Lundin, Kalianna’s dad. In the winters, I plow snow and occasionally work as a framer and sider. I grew up in Coeur d’Alene fishing, hunting, and playing with my cousins in the hills of Mica. In my free time, I love to work on my cars and trucks, ride dirt bikes, and go fishing with my friends. I am working on my continuing studies for an HVAC license and look forward to spending lots of time exploring Post Falls where Kalianna and I will be living after the wedding. I am so excited for you to attend our wedding and look forward to seeing you there!
Maid of Honor
Stand beside you, hold your bouquet, wipe your tears, hold your dress, help you pee, watch you sparkle. I am so honored to be your maid of honor. My name is Shania; Yes like the famous singer , no I can't sing. Primary duties as maid of honor include : drinking, cake tasting, and making check lists at 2 am. I was fortunate to meet Kay having the title of Peter's cousin. Thank goodness for Kay because I finally had another girl around! I’m so excited to gain a cousin, that is beautiful inside & out, has a heart of gold, and is also my best friend. I am beyond grateful to know two amazing souls and to be a part of their wedding day! See you July 20th! XOXO Shania
Best Man
Pete and I were 2 of the 5 kids at our church less than 20 years old. We gradually became friends being the only ones to help each other through the awkward stages of puberty and poor style choices. Things became accelerated after working for a summer together throwing rocks at each others heads, putting up fencing, and me stealing his lunches to cure my blood sugar. Our relationship has thrived on watching each other’s stupid life choices and getting to laugh at one another. Much has changed over the years, but our love for God, dirtbikes, fishing, and good beer has anchored our friendship.
Bridesmaid
My name is Hope Mallet. I am one of Kalianna’s younger cousins and I am currently 19 years old. I attend Whitworth University and I am working to obtain my BA in writing, early in the Spring of 2020, due to my Associates degree from SCC via the running start program. I enjoy walking my spoiled beagle, Koda as well as camping and boating. Kalianna has not only been a sister to me throughout my entire life, but she has also been my forefront role-model; I cannot picture a life without you in it, big sis and I thank you for all of the memories we have shared: Barbie-filled evenings, geocaching, raking leaves, teaching me cursive, drawing fashion clothing, and countless others. I love you so much and wish you all the love and happiness in the world, KK, because you deserve it!

Bridesmaid
Hey everyone! I just graduated from Whitworth with the Bride! We met as freshmen and I think we both knew that we would always be walking down aisles together after that (this one, and those in malls). Anyway, I grew up in Colville and now live in DC! Hopefully I’ll be getting my law degree soon. But, in the meantime, I run after my fun sweet nephews, play tennis, and search for the cheapest mimosas!!
Groomsman
Charlie is husband to Margaret and father to three energetic boys. He has worked in classical Christian education for 14 years and serves as the Headmaster of The Oaks in Spokane, Washington. He left for college when Pete was 3 years old and has enjoyed watching Peter grow into the man he is today. Now they can actually go out and have a beer together!
Groomsman
My name Is Broderick Enns and am cousin to the groom Peter but the fact that I can hardly remember a day Peter wasn't there playing outside and wrestling in the dirt with me I consider him more of a brother. These past couple years I’ve watched Peter and his love, Kay, grow together and fall in love together, and now I consider her so much more than my cousin’s fiancé - she’s family. I can't wait to see what God has in store for these two and am excited for the life long memories we will continue to make.
Bridesmaid
My name is Mariah. I am a second cousin to the Groom, Peter. (Although we all consider him our first cousin, you know, age and all). Kay became very dear to my heart real quick after these two love birds started dating. I’ve been through it all with them, down to the last details of their perfect day. I am honored and so excited for Peter and Kay, as they embark on this new journey as one. I live locally, and will still expect these newly weds to attend our Friday night hang outs! I love you both so much!!
Groomsman
Hello, my name is Blake Enns. I am Peter‘s cousin, born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I am 22 years old and in those years I couldn’t have asked God for a better friend than Peter. We’ve grown up playing everything from Lord of the Rings, with stick swords we carved, to Marines with guns we painted. It hasn’t been just dirt biking and hunting, but as we’ve grown older, I’ve watched Peter become a man and find the girl he loves. I’ve seen Kay’s love for Peter grow beyond measure and now consider her family through the memories we’ve made. I’m glad to have them both in my life and can’t wait to see God bless their marriage as they take on life together. Let’s see that country love shine!
Flower Girl
Scarlette Joy Dowers- at 4 years old she has never known Uncle Pete without his Miss Kay. She can't wait for this lady that she loves, to become her Aunt Kay! What joy is hers then, to serve as a flower girl on that happy day.
Ring Bearer
Kaden loves to make people laugh and when he is not helping his Mommy cook, can often be found playing "fighting" or playing sports. He adores his older brothers and all his cousins and is excited to be in the wedding with cousin Lettie. Uncle Pete is one of his heroes, for his lego-building and dirt-biking skills to name a few!
Mother of the Bride
My name is Julianne and I’m blessed to be Kalianna’s mom, biggest supporter and shopping buddy. Kalianna is my best friend and I admire her fortitude and beautiful heart. It’s been a joy watching my love grow for Peter, the man God has chosen for her. We welcomed Peter into the family 6 years ago and couldn’t love and adore him more. We’ve enjoyed all the family adventures he’s joined us on and look forward to many more. I love you both!
Mother of the Groom
I am Jackie, the wife of Bob, and as we say in our home, the mother of four plus Peter. Being younger than his siblings meant that Peter went wherever I did, whether it was shopping, football games and everything in between. I am so thankful of the way he has grown into a godly young man. He has sought out a good wife and has found one in Kalianna. I am excited to add another daughter to the family!

I’ve enjoyed working with Peter over the past year and am so excited for the wedding.

But God has been faithful and Stuart is delighted to officiate Peter and Kalianna's wedding.
Honorary Grandmother
There was a time in our life when we lived in a house right in the middle of Peter’s home and our grandchildren’s home, we called it the revolving door home because if the grandkids were going to Peter’s or he was going to theirs they always came through our home. They were always on an adventure and always cheerful! I took Peter several years to a beach house with the grandkids, we’d go for a week and it was the highlight of the summer, It is a privilege to be thought of and honored to be considered Grandparents to Peter, a honor we will never take lightly! Peter’s grandparents have all gone on to be with the Lord and their role will be a hard task to follow! We love you Peter! To you Kalianna, we say God bless you for loving Peter and for so easily becoming one of the family!
