We're excited to share a few of our favorite places with you! Restaurant recommendations will be under 'FAQs'. To our out-of-towners visiting for an extended stay, we highly recommend that you take time for a day trip to see Gettysburg or Valley Forge; both are about 1hr and 10mins away.

Lancaster Central Market

The Lancaster Market is the oldest, continuously running public farmers' market in the United States after it's opening in 1730. The market is open Fridays and Saturdays from 6am-3pm. With more than 60 local vendors, we encourage you to check out the locally grown produce, flowers, cheeses, fresh desserts, meats, smoothies, crafts, and much more!

Fulton Theatre

12 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603

The Fulton Theater is designated as a National Historic Landmark. It is the Nation's oldest working theater since its grand opening in 1852. The opera house continues to put on shows and entertain while providing unique dining experiences.

Hershey's Chocolate World

The sweetest place on earth. Hershey Park is an amusement park that is also located here in the town of Hershey!

The Butterfly Atrium at Hershey Gardens

This is one of 25 indoor, tropical butterfly atriums in the country. Hershey Gardens’ Butterfly Atrium is home to dozens of rare butterflies from South and Central America, Africa, and Asia.

The National Civil War Museum

One of the largest museums that portrays the story of the American Civil War. Located in the town of Pennsylvania's state capital.

Chickies Rock Overlook

PA 17512

A one mile trail that runs on a steady incline along the Susquehanna River. There are beautiful views. Dog friendly.

Overlook in Columbia

The Breezyview Gazebo in Columbia is absolutely stunning. This overlook is where we had our engagement pictures taken! Peter and I highly recommend packing a picnic and stopping here. This is easily accessible to all as parking is on-site.

Wolf Sanctuary of PA

465 Speedwell Forge Road, Lititz, PA 17543

The Darlington Family currently cares for fifty different wolves on 80 acres of land at their sanctuary. Guided tours are available by reservation only.

Lititz Springs Park

Lititz Springs' Park is positioned in the center of downtown Lititz, near the Wilbur Chocolate Store. This walking-friendly town offers a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, and shops! Lititz's was named America's Cutest Small Town in 2016.

Wilbur Chocolate Store

Wilbur Chocolate Factory began creating their Wilbur Buds in 1894. The once Philadelphia-based company moved to the beautiful town of Lititz several years ago and continues to make its full line of treats.

The Amish Village

Anything and everything Amish including horse and buggy rides along with sweet treats.

Governor Dick Observation Tower and Trails

3283 Pinch Rd, Mt Gretna, PA 17064

This is a great forested park that has intermediate-level trails covering 16 miles of land. The park also includes an incredible 66 ft observation tower. Located on the edge of Manheim and Mt Gretna.
