On Jan 2, 2014 Pete walked into my father's laundromat where I was working. Let him tell the story he saw me folding clothes in front of the window and had to come in to talk to me. After a brief conversation we exchanged phone numbers and it was "curtains" as he would say, after that. During the course of our 5year relationship there have been many ups and many downs, but through it all with God on our side, our love for each other has prevailed. On October 13th, 2018 3 months before our 5yr anniversary and the day of my deceased father's birthday Pete told me he needed to "talk". I was really unsure what this "talk" consisted of but despite my feelings I agreed. He wanted to go to the park, a place he loves to go to unwind but I refused. I was getting nervous. We went back to my house and he began his speech, talking in circles about his love for me and how this was it for him. He talked about how my love for him had forever changed his life. I remember thinking this sounds like a proposal. Nah, this is not a proposal. Then, the next thing I know he is down on one knee with a ring in his hand! I was in total shock! I said yes began to cry and cry! Now here we are planning our wedding and our future life together. We are so excited to share our special day with you! #foreverpugh
