What about COVID?
Answer
The health and safety of our guests means everything to us. To ensure a safe event we ask that all guests be double vaccinated. Proof of vaccination will be required upon entry. Please wear a mask when entering. You may remove your mask once seated, if you wish.

How do I get there?
Answer
BY AUTOMOBILE From the West Drive east on Kingsway until you come to Southoaks Crescent, which is just past Gilley. Turn right on Southoaks Crescent. The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre and Nikkei Home are on your right and New Sakura-so is on your left. From the East Drive west on Kingsway until you come to Southoaks Crescent (the street is called Sperling heading north). Turn left on Southoaks Crescent. The Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre and Nikkei Home are on your left and New Sakura-so is on your right. BY SKYTRAIN The nearest Skytrain station is the Edmonds Station at Edmonds and 19th Street in Burnaby. After leaving the station, turn left on Griffiths, go up the hill until you reach Kingsway. Turn left on Kingsway and walk until you reach Southoaks Crescent. Nikkei Place is located at that corner (southeast corner of Kingsway and Southoaks Crescent). The walk takes about fifteen minutes.

Underground public parking is available for the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre. There is also a WestPark lot nearby on Arcola Street.

Where are you registered for gifts?

We are not registered anywhere. If it is your wish to bless us with a gift, we would greatly appreciate a monetary contribution to our savings fund.

What's the dress code?

We suggest cocktail attire as it is New Year's Eve! The Bridal Party will be in Gold, Blush, Champagne, and Rose Gold.

How do I get home?
Answer
Please don't drink and drive! As New Year's Eve transportation can be quite tricky please plan a safe way home beforehand. Consider pre-booking a safe ride home through Operation Red Nose or Keys Please, or ordering a ride-hailing service such as Lyft or Uber. Download any of the above apps and set up your accounts in advance. You can also hail a taxi-cab from Bonny's at (604) 435-6655 or Burnaby Select Metrotown Taxi at (604) 916-3516. TransLink will also be offering customers free transit on New Year’s Eve, from 5 p.m. on December 31 until 5 a.m. on January 1. The closest Skytrain station is the Edmonds station.
