How we met

Boy met girl in elevator at Adelphi's Performing Arts Center. The rest is history.

Fredonia

The time came for the two of them to leave their respective nests as they set off to the other (better) side of New York to Fredonia. A small town about an hour south of Buffalo (GO BILLS!), nestled in the midst of Lake Erie wine country where Peter embarked on a new scholarly journey into to bright new future of computers! Alyssa couldn't let him go alone so together they went, bringing Ripley and Chewy of course.

Good-Bye New York!

Enter 2020. New opportunity led us to the peach state of Georgia! Mountains, nature, a dazzling downtown, every store you could think of and more! Home sweet home.

The Proposal

Our 6th year anniversary was approaching. What better way to celebrate than a sunrise hike up a mountain exploring our new state of Georgia! We kept an eye on the weather all week and while it looked questionable, we have hiked up mountains in the rain in the past and nothing was going to stop our adventure. It rained for a bit when we arrived hiking up in our ponchos but eventually it stopped which made us happy, but the clouds were still all around us. There was a part of the hike up that we got to see some of the views unobstructed by clouds but we knew the best views were at the top. We finally arrived at the top of Blood mountain having hiked up 1,400 feet to a summit elevation of 4459 feet. Alas we were trapped in a cloud! But the weather doesn't stop love! Peter proposed, and she of course said Yes!
