This is one of our favorite museums. The layout is unique and the history is compelling. We personally loved all of the Van Goghs.
FringeArts
This is our favorite place for experimental and creative theater experiences, including plays and comedy. You'll be in town during Philadelphia's Fringe Festival, with unique shows all over the city. FringeArts is a great resource for finding out more information about all of the shows, and is a great venue in and of itself.

Philadelphia Film Society
Peter's go-to movie theater, which shows mostly independent movies. There are two locations nearby the hotel: PFS Bourse and PFS East.
Philadelphia Museum of Art
Pro tip: they have pay what you want Fridays! And of course the Rocky statue is out front, for those more into sports and film than fine arts.
Queen & Rook Game Cafe
We love playing board games, and this is a great place to do it! They have vegetarian food, drinks, and an extensive game library.
Bar Bombón
This is one of our go-to restaurants. It is an all vegan latin-inspired cuisine. Alisha highly recommends the yucca.
Batter & Crumbs Vegan Bakery and Cafe
We love this vegan bakery! They have amazing pastries as well as grab-and-go sandwiches.
The Bourse Food Hall
This is a good place to grab some food in Old City, near the venue and hotels.

This is one of our favorite restaurants. It is all tapas style vegan food. This is where we went the night we got engaged!
Chatayee Thai
This is our favorite Thai restaurant. They have options for everyone, including a separate all vegan menu.
Fitz on 4th
This is a newer vegan restaurant in Philly, that is quickly becoming a favorite.
MOM's Organic Market
You need snacks even when you're out of town! This is our favorite organic food store.
Paulie Gee’s
This is Peter's favorite pizza place. It has both vegan and non-vegan options, as well as billiards and a bar.
Reading Terminal Market
The famous Reading Terminal Market has about a million food options, including Peter's favorite: Luhv Vegan Deli.
Su Xing House
If you are looking for Chinese food, this is our favorite! Peter could get takeout from here every day. All vegetarian, and mostly vegan!
The Tasty
This is our favorite brunch spot. This is unlikely to come as a surprise at this point, but it is all vegan!
Tomo Sushi & Ramen
A great sushi and ramen spot with vegan and non-vegan options! It's BYOB, and there's a beer store right next door.
