Formal attire with a personal twist. Think elegant dresses, suits, styled in a way that feels like you. Our wedding will take place entirely indoors in a heated venue, so you can focus on looking fabulous while staying comfortable. --- // --- Esporte fino. Terno, vestidos elegantes, mas lembre de vestir algo que você vai se sentir confortável para dançar bastante. Apesar de ser durante o inverno, não se preocupe com frio. Todos os locais tem aquecedor e tendem a ficar bem quentes. Quem tiver pensando em usar meia calça, recomendo usar uma fina para não passar calor. Casacos só quando tiverem em ambientes externos/não cobertos. Um casaco pesado já resolve, não precisa de termais!

There will be a coach that will depart The Glasshouse Hotel for Castle Dargan Estate at 13:00 on December 19th. The same coach will be available to ferry guests back to The Glasshouse Hotel at 22:00 and again at 02:00. If you're wondering what happens if you miss the coach or just want to go your own way? (cue Fleetwood Mac). Uber & FreeNow taxi services are available in Sligo, however, may not be as reliable as local operators. Nothing formally planned as of yet :) ---//--- Casamentos na Irlanda tendem a ter dois dias de festa. Primeiro dia para casar mesmo e o segundo pra festar haha. Não temos nada planejado ainda, mas talvez vamos acabar indo beber em algum lugar em Sligo.

What can I expect weatherwise? / O que esperar do clima?

Ireland in December means only one thing: anything could happen. We could have rain, sleet, hail, gale force winds, and of course even a bit of sun - all in an hour. Luckily the wedding will be all indoors so no need to worry about crazy weather :) That being said, it is a good idea to bring a warm coat and comfy shoes - you'll need to be comfy for all the dancing. Expected temperature during this period; - Daily Averages: Approximately 5°C to 6°C (41°F to 43°F). - Night time averages: Approximately 2°C to 4°C (36°F to 39°F). December is one of the coldest months in Sligo, characterized by overcast skies and frequent precipitation, with rain falling on roughly 12 to 23 days of the month. ---//--- Bom galera, Dezembro é um dos meses mais gelados na região de Sligo. Chove entre 12 a 23 dias no mês. Por sorte o casamento todo será em ambiente fechado. Então zero preocupação com cabelo, roupa e etc. Dentro de todos os locais tem aquecimento, então não precisa se agasalhar demais (pergunta 1 para mais informações de roupa).

While we love your children, we hope you understand that only children included in the invitation/RSVP page are invited. Please contact us directly if you have any questions. -> Adapters Ireland has the same plug as the UK, you might need an adapter if you are coming from The Netherlands/USA/Brazil/France. Voltage here is 230V -> Payments You’ll find that most places (taxi's included) allow payment by tapping phone/bank cards, so there’s no need to carry much cash. -> Social / Cultural Bits Tipping isn’t mandatory, but appreciated (around 10–15% in restaurants if service isn’t included). People are generally very chatty and welcoming. Accents can be hard to understand, but if you just smile and nod you'll be grand! -> Staying connected Coming from countries outside of the EU you might want to consider an eSIM or local SIM for data.
