If you have a rental car, we highly recommend taking a drive along Route 1A from Rye to Hampton. It is 13 miles of beautiful coastline views, and there are some great stops along the way if you are in the mood for a lobster roll (Petey's or Rye Harbor Lobster Pound), ice cream (The Beach Plum), a dip in the ocean, or a stop in Peter's favorite store (Summer Sessions).

The Docks are an awesome (and popular) place in the summer to grab a bite to eat, drink, and sit on the water to watch the tugboats.
