Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no dress code. You can dress as formally or casually as you feel comfortable. The weather in Iceland is unpredictable, so layering is key. A thermal base layer under your chosen attire is recommended. Opt for hiking boots or low wedge heels that can handle uneven terrain. Choose clothing/outerwear that is suitable for potential rain, wind, and cold temperatures. Please refrain from wearing colors traditionally reserved for the bride.

Will the ceremony and reception be held indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors. We recommend you plan your outfits to handle any type of weather. The dinner reception will be held indoors.

Will there be transportation from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are recommending everyone rent a car of their own or arrange carpools for their weekend transportation.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Your invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

Although we love your kids, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you are able to enjoy the weekend with us!
