J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge
Ding Darling is an awesome wildlife refuge that you can either bike, canoe/kayak, or drive through! They offer bike and canoe/kayak rentals, as well. Check out their website for something fun to do while you're on the island!
Captiva Crab Races at Tween Waters Resort
*Thursdays and Mondays Only* Join Crab Race Commissioner Tim as he begins calling tables at 5:15 pm for the family show to experience the legendary Captiva Crab Races— get here early to pick your crab, and then you’re off to the races! Family-friendly show at 6 pm Adult show at 9 pm

Tiny little restaurant on the beach with delicious food - perfect spot for a little date night. I would not recommend bringing kids though.
