Travel Note
Hood River, OR is the ideal place for out of town guests to stay. Popularized as a windsurfing destination in the 1980s, this waterfront town in the Columbia River Gorge is an outdoor adventurer’s playground. Common summer-fall activities include hiking, biking, paddle boarding, windsurfing, white-water kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, horseback riding, golfing, fishing and wine tasting.
Travel Note
Hood River, OR is 60 miles east of Portland International Airport (PDX), along the Columbia River. If you are coming in from out of town, we recommend flying into PDX and renting a car to get into Hood River. There will be wedding transportation to and from Hood River to our wedding venue. Stops will include Hood River Hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Best Western Plus. Please note that Ubers and Taxis will be hard to find. Please plan accordingly.

Cute boutique hotel right in the heart of downtown Hood River. It’s a short walk to the welcome party and right next door to the after party bar but requires a 3 night minimum. Wedding transportation to and from this location will be available. If you are extending your stay, highly recommended!

Hotel option on the river. Walking distance (7 mins) to downtown Hood River where both the welcome party and after party is located. This is a slightly more desirable location than the Best Western but not as desirable as the Hood River Hotel. Wedding transportation to and from this location will be available.

Luxury villas with an amazing view of the river. Not walking distance to downtown, but just a 5 minute drive away. Good option for those who plan on driving to and from the wedding and not attending the after party.

This is a less desirable option for those attending the welcome event (and don't want to drive) and the after party due to its distance from downtown. However, wedding transportation to and from this location.
