It's a classic love story. One that you've heard a million times before. Their eyes locked from across the...screen. They both swiped right and the rest is history. Maura & Pete instantly hit it off on the first date. Pete was so smitten, he even agreed to share a pizza, which as many of you know, is pretty rare. After a handful of dates, the betrothed couple decided to make it official in March of 2015. The next year was spent meeting family and friends, traveling, and growing ever closer. In the Summer of 2016, Maura and Pete decided that they could no longer spend time apart and found an apartment to share on the upper west side of Manhattan. They've been spinning, eating Sweet Green, and dancing until the sun comes up at EDM shows ever since.

Maura woke up thinking it was like any other Saturday. Pete had casually told her a few weeks prior that they were taking a wine tasting class. Maura didn't think much of it, until Pete told the cab driver to go to a different address. Pete definitely saw the wheels turning, as Maura became more and more fidgety on the ride over. The surprise was unveiled as Pete escorted Maura to their private sailboat on the Hudson River. As they embarked on their tour around the city, the weather was gloomy. The skies quickly cleared, which was Pete's cue to pop the question. The captain's advice was to go to the bow of the boat in order to get the best view of the city. Pete suggested that they stand for a selfie, which was the perfect opportunity to drop to one knee. I'm sure you can imagine what happened next. She said "YES!" The celebration continued, as Pete surprised Maura one last time by having family waiting at their apartment. Drinks and dinner ensued. It was a magical day. One that they will never forget!
