17 Mile Drive

There are a few hours between the early ceremony and the reception. We HIGHLY recommend taking the opportunity to do the world-famous 17-Mile Drive around Carmel and through to Pacific Grove. Please note there is a gate fee to enter 17-Mile Drive ($10.50 per vehicle). However, the gate fee is reimbursed with a purchase of $35 or more at all Pebble Beach Resorts restaurants, excluding Pebble Beach Market. This is a great excuse to finally check out Pebble Beach and enjoy a refreshing beverage out on the patio, overlooking the 18th hole! If you watch the water closely, you may get a whale sighting as many species of whale migrate through this area in the winter.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Best aquarium, hands down! There are tons of hands-on exhibits and with the entire building being constructed right on the edge of the water, the views are spectacular and you are very likely to see some playful otters in the waters below. Ticket prices: Adult $49.95 Child $29.95 (Ages 3-12, under 3 free) Senior $39.95 (Ages 65+) Student $39.95 (Ages 13-17 or college ID)

Carmel Valley

For all of our wine lovers out there... a quick drive down Carmel Valley Road will lead you to a plethora of delicious wineries and tasting rooms. Among our favorites are Bernardaus (an entire Chardonnay flight!), Folklore (free glass of champaign upon entry!), and Joullian.
