We met through our ultimate frisbee group in Lancaster, CA around 13 years ago. We spent a lot of time hanging out together with our friends watching bad movies, playing board games, and, of course, throwing the frisbee around. We were the two single people in a group of married couples. It took us this long to figure out that we were a couple, too! We've found what we were missing all along and what our friends always saw.

Honestly, we're not really sure! From the beginning of our relationship we knew that we were dating to find a spouse. At some point this past summer we decided to start wedding planning and look for an engagement ring together. Petar officially proposed to Sarah on October 4 when she visited Reno. He picked her up at the airport and took her to Rancho San Rafael Park where after eating a picnic lunch at the Irwin Overlook he gave her the ring and proposed. She promptly said yes!
