It all started in high school, on the front steps… and somehow, that one moment turned into everything. Not long after, he would wait for me to finish soccer practice and then stay with me until my mom picked me up. That’s where we really got to know each other—just talking, laughing, and spending time together in the simplest ways. My mom would always look over and ask, “Who’s that boy? Does your friend need a ride home?” and I would casually say, “No, it’s okay… he can walk, he doesn’t live far.” (Meanwhile… he definitely could’ve used the ride ) What I didn’t know then was that my high school sweetheart would one day become my forever. From those early days to now, we’ve done so much growing up together. We’ve built a life side by side, filled with love, laughter, challenges, and so many memories, including traveling and exploring the world together. What started as a high school love story turned into something so much deeper than we ever could have imagined. And now, here we are… building the life that was always quietly waiting for us. A love story that began before we even knew what love was. A full-circle moment neither of us could have written better. ♡
