31 years ago in frequent passing Steven decided to make an inquiry in the corner store of 165th, and Woodycrest. An inquiry I chose to answer with as flirtatious of a response as the question. This is where it all began, laughter, deep conversations, life lessons and more. As time persisted we went on to live life as friends who would always support one another in alternate domains of life. A time came where we both realized this was more than a friendship it was love. A love we decided to explore and I guess that says it all. Over time we worked diligently through hard times, questionable decisions, aligned in prioritizing our selves and one another. We’ve overcome being selfish, miscommunication, being defensive, and more because the value of what we shared was strong enough to help us conquer all challenges. Guided in God and unconditional, unwavering love we arrived at a place of choosing each other forever. The love and life we created alongside our amazing children has shown us that we can and will stand the test of time. Love and commitment along with transparency, communication and honesty has developed into choosing our happily ever after. With God as our primary witness nothing but death will separate us from each others love. Happily ever after can exist when created intentionally.
