What should I wear?

Please wear whatever you feel your best self in! We’re thinking dressy casual.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Birkby House. There is ample parking, but I would suggest getting a ride share to the venue, so you don’t have to worry about parking overnight.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be hors d'oeuvres, a formal dinner and an open bar. (Bring cash to tip the wait staff if you feel inclined)

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be in a climate controlled tent. Bring a coat to stay warm!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we can not accommodate children.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We prefer to have an unplugged wedding. We ask that you please turn off cell phones and cameras and enjoy our special day in the moment. Feel free to take your own photos at the reception!

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

There is a city noise ordinance at 10pm but there are plenty of bars and pubs nearby to continue the party!

How do I RSVP? What’s the deadline?

Answer

After the formal invitations are sent out you will be able to RSVP online through this site or by mail with your invitation.

I have dietary restrictions? What do I do?

Answer

We will include space on the formal invitations for special accommodations.

What health/safety restrictions are in place?

Answer

We ask that our guests are vaccinated or have a negative COVID test within a week of our event. If you are unwell, you will be missed, but please stay home.

Do you have hotel rooms blocked off?

Answer

We have 10 rooms blocked off at the Best Western and Landsdowne Resort and Spa. There are many other hotels close by but they’re booking up quickly.
