FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire for a mid-spring evening. Florals are welcome and encouraged! We also kindly ask guests to avoid wearing excessive perfume or cologne, as strong scents can trigger migraines for the bride. Thank you for helping keep the celebration comfortable for everyone.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To help us accommodate all our beloved guests, your invitation is for those named only. We so look forward to celebrating with each of you and truly appreciate your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive 15 minutes early to get settled.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love all the children in our family and among our friends, only those in the wedding party and the little ones specifically invited will be attending.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

A premium open bar will be available for all guests to enjoy throughout the celebration.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Please see the travel page on our website for accommodations.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our professional photographers & cinematographers will capture every moment so everyone can be fully present in this sacred occasion.

Question

What’s there to do in between church and the cocktail hour?

Answer

Our ceremony will conclude around 3–3:30 p.m., and the cocktail hour at Adelphia begins at 6 p.m. In between, the late afternoon is yours to enjoy however you like! Perhaps wander over to Adelphia early, where the lobby and bar will be open for a refreshing drink, or take a scenic detour to Parvin State Park for family photos, visit Cohanzick Zoo (NJ's 1st Zoo!) for a few moments with animals, or explore The Greater Bridgeton Amish Farm Market. Just remember to save your appetite and don’t have too much fun without the bride and groom! We can’t wait to continue this adventure together at the evening celebration!

Question

How should guests get from the ceremony to the reception, and is parking available at both sites?

Answer

Guests are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation between the ceremony and reception. At the church, parking is available in lots across the street and behind the building, as well as on nearby neighborhood streets. Adelphia allows overnight parking for those who wish to leave their vehicles after the reception.
