L.L. Bean is a great idea for a day trip! They often have outdoor adventures (Fly Fishing, Skeet Shooting, Kayaking, etc.) that are led by experienced tour guides and free summer concerts in the park. There is also shopping in and around Freeport right outside L.L. Bean.
