Things To Do

Shopping

You can't go wrong on shopping in Kennebunkport - there are lots of small, locally-owned businesses to support. A few favorites, though, include: Dock Square Emporium, Sea Glass Jewelry Studio, and Beach Grass.

Food & Drink

Dock Square Coffee House: Coffee and light breakfast items in the heart of Kennebunkport. Coveside Market: The Colony Hotel's coffee shop, a short walk from the hotel itself - especially convenient for those that are staying on-site! Federal Jack’s / Kennebunkport Brewing Company: Harbor views, pub-style food, and beers brewed on site. Great for a casual lunch or dinner! The Clam Shack: You can’t come to Maine without a lobster roll! This spot right on the bridge is known for fresh seafood and fried clams. Rococo Ice Cream: Small-batch, artisanal ice cream with creative flavors. Mabel's Lobster Claw: Lots of seafood! Roma Pizza: Quick, classic pizza. Alisson’s Upstairs Pub: Right in Dock Square, a pub atmosphere with plenty of beers on tap. Late-Night Options: Kennebunkport tends to be sleepy after dark, but Domino’s in nearby Kennebunk will deliver if you need something after hours.

Day Trips

Freeport, ME: About an hour north of Kennebunkport, Freeport is home to L.L.Bean's flagship store! In addition to the extensive L.L.Bean campus, there's great shopping and dining nearby. Portland, ME: Also about an hour north of Kennebunkport, Portland is the nearest city. There's a big foodie scene here! Portsmouth, NH: About 40 minutes south of Kennebunkport, Portsmouth is one of our absolute favorite places! It's a historic seaport town with great shopping, waterfront dining, and lots of cute streets to roam along and explore.
