What should I wear?
Answer
Beach Semi-Formal. Maxi/midi dresses, jumpsuits, sports coats, blazers, dress pants, khakis. The wedding day will take place on the beach so plan your shoes accordingly!

Is there transportation to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! Shuttles will be awaiting outside the hotel to transport guests to the venue. Please be in the lobby waiting for the shuttles by (times to be determined). Casa de Playa is part of the Andaz property, but is a short drive from the main hotel.

Yes! A current valid passport is required to travel to Costa Rica

What rooms are available in the room block and how many people do they sleep?
Answer
There are several different types of rooms available that sleep anywhere from 2-8 people. King-bed rooms: 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids (both under 11 years). Double-bed rooms: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids (both under 11 years). No extra beds can be added to the room. A charge of $75.00 per adult is included in the nightly rate for the third and/or fourth adult. Andaz Suite & Andaz Bay View Suite: 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children (one king bed and an extra bed added to room). 2 Bedroom villa: 6 guests (primary bedroom with one king bed, second bedroom with two queen beds). 2 Bedroom penthouse: 6 guests (primary bedroom with one king bed, a second bedroom with two queen beds and two full baths). 3 Bedroom penthouse: 8 guests (primary bedroom with one king bed, a second bedroom with two queen beds, a third bedroom with one queen bed, and three full baths).

Is payment due in full at time of booking?
Answer
A credit card is required to hold your room, however payment is not due until time of stay. If you would like to make payments or set up on a monthly payment plan email Maeghen at Welcome@escapeandrelaxtravel.com.

What dates are included in the room block rates?
Answer
January 5th 2025- January 15th 2025. The welcome party will take place on Thursday January 9th and the wedding on Saturday January 11th.

What does the 12% resort fee that is included in the price of the room cover?

Resort Fee covers the following—per day, per room: Scheduled transportation throughout Peninsula Papagayo Non-motorized water sports equipment at our activities (snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding) Fitness center access and amenities CAMBI Kids Club Healthy minibar with sodas and snacks Selected daily resort activities

Is food included?
Answer
Your room reservation includes breakfast at the Rio Bhongo and an in room mini bar with snacks and soft drinks. Not included: There are 3 other restaurants on the property that you may choose to dine at. There is also food and drinks served by the pools and at two of the resorts beaches. Kids ages 0-4 years old eat free from the kids’ menu available in our four restaurants and Eat In Kids ages 5-11 years old eat from the special kids’ menus that our chefs have prepared at each of our restaurants and Eat In. A 50% discount applies for the breakfast buffet at Rio Bhongo.
