Fly into August or Atlanta

Flying Into Augusta For guests considering flying directly into town, Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) is the closest airport to our wedding venue. Most routes will require a connection through a major hub, but once you arrive, it’s an easy 12–15 minute drive from AGS to downtown Augusta and Old Medical College. Flying into AGS is the most convenient option if you prefer a quick and low-stress arrival. Flying Into Atlanta Another option is flying into Atlanta’s Hartsfield–Jackson International Airport (ATL), which offers a wide range of direct flights. From ATL, you can either rent a car for the 2.5–3 hour drive to Augusta or book a seat on Groome Transportation, a shuttle service that runs regularly between the two cities. Please note that public transportation in Augusta is very limited, so having a rental car will make it much easier to get around during your stay.

Parking at the Wedding Venue (Old Medical College)

Guest parking is available directly across Telfair Street in the Municipal Building parking lot. Accessible parking is located in the lot behind Old Medical College for guests who need to use the handicap ramps. Accessible parking is located behind Old Medical College, between the OMC and the ARC (the historic building next door). Enter from Telfair Street by following the driveway through the brick pillars into the back parking lot.
