Things To Do

Marché Burette

85 Amelia Village Circle, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 491-4834

This is our favorite quick brunch spot in the Village. Sit down and order the breakfast burrito or grab coffee and a pastry to-go!

Garden Street Bistro

105 South 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 432-7027

Another favorite brunch spot. This family run restaurant has amazing food and a quaint atmosphere. If there is a wait for a table, never fear! The owner is happy to serve you mimosas while you wait.

Ms. Carolyn's Restaurant

2120 Sadler Road, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 261-6277

If you are looking from some good Southern breakfast food, Ms Carolyn's is your place! Also a great place to nurse a hangover.

Sliders Seaside Grill

1998 South Fletcher Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 277-6652

Slider is perfect for a beach side lunch. They almost always have someone strumming the guitar. Good vibes all around! Upstairs, is called "Tortuga Jacks @ Sliders" this is the breakfast arm of Sliders. Sit out on the porch and look straight down to the ocean, the view is great and watching sunrise there is magical over coffee and eggs.

The Surf Restaurant & Bar

3199 South Fletcher Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 261-5711

Funny story, Charlie + Caroline actually stayed at The Surf's motel during one of their 4th of July trips. They ate at The Surf's restaurant multiple times that summer—highly recommend for a beer and seafood lunch.

The Sandbar & Kitchen

2910 Atlantic Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 310-3648

Charlie + Caroline rode out a hurricane at this restaurant/bar. The fried pickles are great, so are all their pizzas.

Salt Life Food Shack

17 North Fletcher Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 432-7385

This is usually our first stop when we arrive for the 4th of July!

Green Turtle Tavern

14 South 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034

All our guests can expect to spend a good amount of time here! Our favorite place to drink downtown.

Palace Saloon

117 Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (844) 441-2444

Amelia Island's The Palace Saloon is the oldest bar in Florida and was the last American tavern to close during Prohibition. It survived that dry era as an ice cream parlor. Once this bar was a favorite haunt of the Carnegies, the Rockefellers and other socialites. Today—it is where we head after Green Turtle closes for last night drinks and dancing!

PJD'S Beer & Wine Garden

12 South 2nd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 310-9314

Charlie stumbled upon this tiny bar, the guy who runs it is the man. They have an extensive and unique beer list. Enjoy a beer or cocktail with old friends or make new ones, PJD's is an all-around awesome place to hang out with some of the coolest people on the island!

Salty Pelican Bar & Grill

12 North Front Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 277-3811

Great lunch or dinner spot very close to the water. Live music (sometimes)!

Mocama Beer Company

629 South 8th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 456-9088

We have actually never been to Mocama, but it looks amazing every time we pass by on our way into downtown. Brand new location with a big-city vibe to it. Can't vouch for the beer. They do not serve food, but I often see food trucks parked nearby.

Brett's Waterway Cafe

1 South Front Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 261-2660

Right on the water (per the name). I love walking down on the marina after dinner or while waiting on food to come out.

The Boat House

30 South 2nd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 321-1234

Newer restaurant for downtown. It is super cute and the food is decent, although I feel like people come here more for the atmosphere. There is usually live music from our friend Brian Ernst.

España Restaurant & Tapas

22 South 4th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 261-7700

Our date night spot.

Le Clos

20 South 2nd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 261-8100

Another date night spot!

Cafe Karibo

27 North 3rd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 277-5269

Great lunch and dinner spot. Make sure to call ahead!

Eight Flags Antique Market

602 Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 277-8550

This is my favorite antique store on the island. I have found so many wonderful things hidden in this store throughout the years—including a part of earrings I'm wearing to my rehearsal dinner!

Plantation Shop

4828 1st Coast Highway, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 261-2030

Growing up, I would love when my mom shopped here because I got to hang out with the store's resident golden, Carolina. Great place for homewares, decor and gifts.

Amelia Surf Co

2022 1st Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 432-8482

Charlie and I always end up buying something here. Great hats and girls bathing suits. They also have good smoothie place in the back.

Driftwood Surf Shop

31 South Fletcher Avenue, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 321-2188

This is the place to go for surf lessons. They people here are so sweet and knowledgable. Also a great place to shop—I love their straw hats!

Fantastic Fudge

218 Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034
, (904) 277-4801

Best ice cream and fudge on the island!!
