Ceremony

4:00 pm - 4:45 pm

We will be exchanging vows at the beautiful ruins of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Downtown Rochester. We cannot think of a more perfect place to say "I Do" as we pay homage to our family's heritage. The original church building, built by German immigrants in 1843, all but burned down on Oct. 18, 1974, with only the clock tower and adjoining walls surviving. Thanks to the efforts of the Landmark Society of Western NY, SUNY Brockport, the City of Rochester, the Downtown Development Corporation, and the Redemptorist Fathers, the church and surrounding land were eventually converted into the park that exists today. Parking: You’re welcome to park at the Harro East and walk to St. Joseph’s (about a 5-min walk), or park in the lot across the street from the church for $3 per car. After the ceremony, please move your car to the Harro East. Attire: Cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, dark jackets, & slacks. Tuxes & gowns also welcome. (Ladies, please no white or ivory.)

Reception

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Andrew and Jenna have FINALLY gotten hitched... and NOW IT’S TIME TO PARTY!! We can’t wait to celebrate with you at the historic Harro East Ballroom in downtown Rochester. Built in the 1930s in the Georgian style, it was designed as a grand social and entertainment space, reflecting the era’s love of ballrooms as centers of music, dance, and community gatherings. The ballroom’s history is also reflected in its concert and event legacy. It has hosted a wide range of performers, from jazz festival artists to local and national acts, making it a part of Rochester’s cultural calendar for generations. Its role in the city’s social scene mirrors the broader ballroom tradition of the early to mid-20th century, when such venues were central to community life and entertainment. The building has been in the family for four generations, and today the Harro East Ballroom remains a beautiful and timeless symbol of Rochester’s heritage.
