I once read, "'Being in love' first moved them to promise fidelity: this quieter love enables them to keep the promise. It is on this love that the engine of marriage is run: being in love was the explosion that started it." It all started with a game night at Pauls house. I say big impressions make for major moments, because I loved the energy of Leanna when she arrived that night. Fast forward a few months to a night out at the local bowling alley. Apparently, I had still felt that overwhelming energy when I "unknowingly" started flirting with her by showing her the proper way to bowl (even though I'm pretty sure she still beat me in that game). From that night on we continued to grow our friendship... but something changed... something in me knew I had to take my shot and see what she was all about. It was pretty much a love story waiting to happen. Picture us, March 10th, I go to drop her off after a night out with friends...we are standing and talking in the pouring rain, not wanting to leave each other, then suddenly, I do it. I officially ask her out on our first date! I take my shot! The rest is history and I am now willing to mark it down as the best shot taken in the history of mankind. I say that, because I now get to marry a woman who can bring joy to my heart like no one else ever could.
