Appropriate attire?

Answer

Just casual. Polo shirt, button-up, blouse, nice jeans, sundress, etc. Whatever your preference! Just beware of heels, most of the reception site is grass ground.

Hotel accommodations?

Answer

A block of rooms have been reserved for our wedding guests at Lied Lodge in Nebraska City for both Friday and Saturday night. Please mention the Johnson/Vasko group when you call to reserve rooms in order to receive the discounted rate. Holiday Inn Express and Best Western are other close options in Nebraska City.

Is the outdoor reception weather permitting?

There will be event tents set up as well as the pavilion to use for shade or cover in the event of rain.

Transportation to hotel after the reception:

Answer

If you’re staying in Nebraska City Saturday night, we’ve booked a shuttle service back to your hotel from the reception sight so everyone can get back safely. So, our suggestion is to carpool to the ceremony/reception so a vehicle is available at your hotel the next morning :) Lied Lodge also has a shuttle service available to return you to your vehicles the next day.
