We met on 3rd January 2009 and yes we remember the exact date. KC Fieldhouse was picking us both up at the airport, Chris from a running trip and Megan from Canada. If you don’t already know Megan is not a great flyer and that was the longest and hardest journey of her life. Megan’s first words upon us meeting were “Nice to meet you. I’m sitting in the front!”. Luckily first impressions aren’t always correct, and in the coming weeks and months we all became a family. It wasn’t until many years later that a light bulb moment finally eventuated for Chris. The rest, as they say, is history.
