Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place in Houston, TX at Memorial church of Christ's chapel. NOT the auditorium. Please enter through the doors at the far left of the church building. When facing the church from the parking lot, they will be located AROUND the left corner and you will walk until you see a welcome sign.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception takes place in the same building as the ceremony but different room.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We suggest that guests arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Can I choose how I RSVP?

Answer

Yes. You may RSVP via mail, the website, email, text, or call either of us. See last FAQ if you would like more contact information.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by July 14th.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in your Sunday best.

Have you reserved any hotel room blocks?

Answer

We're sorry for any inconvenience, but we have not reserved any hotel rooms.

Are there any local places that I could visit while I'm in town?

Answer

Some of our favorite attractions to visit in Houston are the museums, the Houston Zoo, and the Aquarium.

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Please park in the church parking lot located in the back of the church building. Again, please enter through the doors located around the corner of the left side of the church when facing the building from the parking lot. You will see a welcome sign. There IS a covered drive thru for elderly guests to be dropped off.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If an invitation says that a guest can bring a plus one, then they may. If it does not, we are sorry but kindly hope that our guests understand.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We definitely understand if little ones need to attend. If your child’s name was not addressed in the invitation, please still indicate their attendance in your RSVP.

What is the menu for the reception?

Answer

Guests have the option to choose either bbq sausage or brisket with various sides.

Can I take pictures/ post photos of your wedding to social media?

Answer

For the ceremony, we kindly ask that our guests let our amazing photographer do her job and refrain from taking photos and posting them to social media. We love each of you and want you to enjoy and be fully present in every moment of this special occasion with us. However, you may take pictures during the reception.
