Mother of the Bride
I’m the blessed woman who got to carry, give birth to, and raise Jemma. I’m so glad that she has found Logan, a young man who loves the Lord and shares Jemma’s passion for travel and coffee. My desire for this couple is that they will take joy in the journey of living life in Christ together as one. BTW, I am also blessed to be Jemma and Logan’s pastor, a job I share with my husband, Joel.
Father of the Bride
Joel Sowards is Jemma’s father and will also be officiating the ceremony.
Matron of Honor
Jemma is my best friend who also happens to be my little sister. We do everything together from Bachelor nights to our obsession with Target and Starbucks. I can’t wait to be by her side during this magical time. In the words of Lorelei Gilmore: “It’s all any of us wants, to find a nice person to hang out with ‘til we drop dead."
Matron of Honor
I am Xoché Blauvelt, Jemma's older sister, who has had the honor of sharing in multiple ventures with Jemma including six grade camp, family vacations and now her wedding! Cheers to the happy couple.
Bridesmaid
Jemma and I met the first week I moved to Milan back in 2004; 17 years later, I’ve gotten the privilege of growing up with her friendship, her family’s and getting to be her vacation buddy. I’m so excited to get to witness and support her in this new adventure.
Bridesmaid
I like to say I’ve known Jem since before we were born. We’ve played Webkinz together from states away, road tripped when we could, and (as all sisters do) sometimes hated each other, but we always grew and loved in the end. I am absolutely thrilled to road trip again for my girl’s big day!
Bridesmaid
I am Lauryn, Logan’s twin (twin twin power!). I met Jemma through Logan years ago at WCC and I am honored and proud to stand by her and my brother on their big day!
Bridesmaid
I met and worked with Jemma at Starbucks and we soon became very close friends. She helped me navigate living in Ann Arbor and was always up for random cookie grocery trips. I’m excited to travel back to Michigan to stand with her.
Best Man
I met Logan in 7th grade when we started living in the same neighborhood. We quickly became friends and were always together. Now we are pretty much family and have hung out ever since.
Best Man
I am Cameron, Logan’s older brother. Logan and I use to bump heads while growing up, but now I can’t imagine life without him. To see him growing up, becoming a man, and loving someone just warms my heart. Congrats bro.
Groomsman
The oldest, making him the wisest of the Perkins children, Richard is known to be the most expressive and charismatic fella around. He wishes a long and happy marriage for Logan and Jemma.
Groomsman
Hey everyone, I'm John, Brittney's husband. I met Logan through Britt and Jemma years ago when we lived in Michigan.
Groomsman
I am am Mitchell, brother in law to Jemma and coffee friend to Logan. I’ve known Jemma since her middle school years, she’s been like a little sister to me. May God bless this new union.
Groomsman
I’ve known logan my whole life. I met him when I was about five years old. The crazy thing is even though he’s my cousin, it feels like we are close friends. I honestly forget we are related. I am honored to be standing by him on his wedding day.
