Jack and Peri met each other in 2018 working at Target. They began to talk more once they were both hanging out with the same group of coworkers. After getting to know each other more, they went on their first date in November of 2020. They made things official in December of that same year. The couple ended up moving in together in August of 2021. These two enjoy exploring, car rides, and nature. In February of 2025, Peri and Jack took their first vacation together without family. It was on this special trip that Jack decided to ask Peri to marry him. They woke up early one day to see the sunrise in the Smokey Mountains. In the chilly morning, snow on the ground, Jack got down on one knee and made Peri the happiest person in the world.
