Sure, it’s only fair to mention the after party/reception will be in a tavern. There will not be separate accommodations for young children available at our venue or reception but they are welcome. The botanical garden rules and regulations state children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Yes, bring an umbrella ! If there is a dangerous storm cell we will reevaluate the space for the ceremony prior to the day of and update the website. Other than that- we plan to hold the ceremony rain or shine. It is in an outdoor garden with grass in many places so plan attire accordingly.
No, due to the limited guest list we opted not to hire private transportation to and from the reception. The closest hotel is listed on the website.
We prefer our guests to be “unplugged” so that you can enjoy the ceremony and we can enjoy the moment. Please allow our photographer to do the capturing of the ceremony and we ask that you respectfully put away all devices during the ceremony.
Yes, there are restrooms available Glencairn Botanical Garden. There is a short walk involved to get to the facilities.

The ceremony is in a botanical garden. We welcome comfortable attire as the ceremony is outdoors. The reception will be held in an Irish tavern with access to an outside patio and an inside building. Heels are not recommended for the ceremony. Khakis and polos is fine- no suits or super fancy dress is necessary. We want you to enjoy the outdoors and not be hot and uncomfortable.

The ceremony will begin at 11:30. We ask kindly that you do not arrive before 11am so the garden staff and vendors can set things up.

Yes, according to parks and rec the garden is listed as accessible for both the garden and the facilities. The tavern is also accessible with no issues. Signage at the garden states: wheelchair access to the interior of the garden is located near the intersection of Edgemont and Charlotte Ave. Please allow additional time to traverse the pathways through the garden
