Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP as early as you'd like if you're certain whether you can or cannot come. However, we're aware that life is unpredictable! Please RSVP no later than March 30.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate everyone bringing a plus one to the wedding. That being said, save the dates and invitations go out months in advance and if your relationship status changes or if we mistakingly didn't add your partner, please let us know!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers. We hope you see this as an opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy the party with us. That being said, we understand that finding accommodations for your children can be difficult, if not impossible. If that is the case, please do not hesitate to email us.

Is there a registry?

Answer

Yes. Your presence at our wedding is a gift in and of itself, but if you feel inclined to give more, we have a registry located on our website.

Where is the wedding located?

Answer

The wedding is located at the Garrett Family Farm House. The address is 1516 Hwy 61 South Whitsett, NC 27377. Both the website and the invitation have the address, but Google Maps is sometimes a pain. We would suggest noting the exact number (1516) just in case your GPS isn't as reliable as it ought to be. If you have any trouble on the day of, please contact our brilliant wedding planner, Susan Hartle, at (336)-690-7462.

What should I wear?

Answer

We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our evening. This means cocktail, semi-formal, or formal dresses. Please do not wear white clothing, daytime, or informal dresses and jeans.

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid wearing colors traditionally reserved for brides. This means whites, ivories, and creams. The bridal party colors are gray for the men and champagne for the women. We're not gatekeeping these colors by any means, but that is just for your information if you want to avoid dressing like the party!

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

The wedding and reception will take place in a grassy area outside. While we will have a dance floor, expect to walk in some grass throughout the day and please keep that in mind as you choose your footwear.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We request that you remain 'unplugged' throughout the ceremony. We have a photographer and videographer who will capture all the magical moments, but we request that guests are not on their phones throughout the ceremony. However, we have a wedding hashtag and some special ways you can share photos of the reception and cocktail hour to help us remember the day!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

We are so excited about our outdoor wedding, but we also know that the weather is unpredictable. We have reserved a tent in case of weather, but it also wouldn't hurt if you brought an umbrella as well!

Where should I park?

Answer

We are having a beautiful outdoor wedding at Markey's farmhouse. There will be a field dedicated to parking on the property. That being said, there will be limited parking, so carpooling and Uber are encouraged.
