We actually met on the dating app Bumble. However, we ended up having mutual friends. Kyle went to Roncalli High School and I went to Marian University which had a lot of Kyle's graduating high school classmates. We texted for a couple of weeks before we finally went on a date. The rest was history. After going on a date every week for the next two months we finally decided to make it official on July 12, 2019. We have graduated college together and have been lucky enough to both start our dream jobs together.

After almost 2 years of dating on June 26, 2021 Kyle finally went down on one knee to pop the question! But I totally ruined the surprise. The week before my best friend Leslie took me to get my nails done. Then I became suspicious. Later that week I got bold and asked Kyle if he was proposing that weekend. Of course he lied and told me he wasn't. But it did prompt him to change his original plan. I was still surprised as he had my two best friends there for the surprise!
