Mary... It was a sunny beautiful Saturday morning and were meeting for breakfast. I was sitting in my car looking for a white pickup truck. Suddenly, I heard what sounded like explosions of thunder billowing across the sky. I look up and see this massive dually truck pull into a stall and this Mandingo step out. I resisted the urge to hop out of my car and waited for him to open my door. Victor... I never had a breakfast date before because I am a night owl, and my body was used to the night shift. When I pulled into the parking lot and I saw her sitting in her car, I thought, hmm she's a winner. I wanted to show her my southern charm and went to get her out of her car. Us... As this 6'3" man walked to my door, our eyes locked and it felt like time slowed down. We were both visibly nervously giddy like two high school teenagers. The attraction was instant and undeniable. We settled into breakfast, nerves calmed, and the conversation flowed. It was like we were old friends, and the time flew. He walked me to my car, kissed my forehead, and I watched him walk to that monstrous truck. Let's take a long walk... The next day we met up and went for a long walk in Tacoma on Ruston Way. The sun was shining, and the deeper discovery continued. We discovered things we shared like adult children, live music, and riding motorcycles. We also discussed our differences and how to find common ground. And our adventure started! Motorcycling on Mt. Rainier, NBA basketball games in Portland, to enjoying Jazz Alley our love story has brought us to exchanging vows on 8.24.2024.
