This couple actually met in a library, lol! Columbus State University Simon Schwob Library was where it all began. A sleepy and overworked graduate student locks eyes with a talkative and observant Airforce veteran. The two instantly connect as he gets enough nerve to sit three seats away from her while she is finishing her practicum assignment in the computer lab. This was her inward wish, "Oh, if he would just sit next to me"..... and sure enough he did! They talked about interests, careers, and education, all in a short span of about 20 minutes, but who was counting; it seemed liked time stopped just for the two of them. The gentleman asked for her "business number" and she gladly gave him her "cell number", something she rarely did, but this time was different. He was different, and she could not wait to hear from this man again. While giddy and amazed, the lady remained composed. For she knew in her heart that if this was truly from the Lord, they would connect and things would flow in the Lord's way and in His timing. So she continued forward unmoved. However as time slowly began to create distance between the two, this gentleman did not call. He actually misplaced the lady's number! His shameful error caused his heart much misery, as he thought that he saved her number in his phone- only to find that it was gone and not saved within the memory of his tiny, old flip phone. He searched for several days in hopes to find his lady in the same place where they first met. Sadly, their path's never crossed again.... until a miracle occurred. One Sunday morning just before service, a prominent woman and figure in the community came to this gentleman suggesting that he meets a strong, kind, and godly young lady. This woman went as far as to show the gentleman this lady on Facebook, and just as the Lord would have it and to the gentleman's amaze.......it was the mysteriously, engaging lady he met at the library.
