We're Getting Married!

Long story short…. Luis and I first met while working together at Old Navy in Houma, LA. He had just moved to the States from Puerto Rico, and I was studying at Nicholls State. Even though the attraction was instant, we were just friends for months before he finally decided to make his move! I eventually decided to move back to Hammond to graduate from Southeastern Louisiana University, and thankfully it wasn't long before he was able to join me. Five years later, and we are still as happy as we've been from the beginning! We've shared many memories, trips, meals, blessings, etc. The list can go on and on. One thing I can definitely say is that I know the list will never end. 

Luis proposed to me during a trip to visit his family in Puerto Rico! We went out to dinner with Luis's family at one of his favorite restaurants on the island. While we waited for our food to come, Luis asked if I wanted to walk along the beach with him. Shortly after the most romantic walk of my life... Luis and I were popping champagne on the beach with his family before we ate some of the most amazing food. The whole evening was beautiful and something I wasn't expecting. And - saying yes to Luis was the easiest decision I think I'll ever make.
