Katherine first met Max at Cookout in 2020, and both started that same week. After they met, their manager pulled Max aside and asked him, "do you think she's pretty or ugly?" and Max replied that he indeed thought Katherine was pretty. Then the manager went on to ask Katherine the same thing. Which she replied, "He's cute," and they exchanged numbers and started to get to know each other. After going through so much, they learned a lot from each other, grew together and loved one another, and have a healthy and loving relationship. In 2021 Max decided to go into the Army. This was of course extremely hard for Katherine and Max since they were use to seeing each other everyday. But little did Katherine know, while he was away doing basic training, he was always thinking about her and decided he wanted to marry her and thought of a plan for when he came home during the holidays. As they walked along Downtown Raleigh on New Year's Eve, Max kept asking Katherine questions about their future. Once they reached this beautifully decorated street, where there were beautiful lights, Max took that special moment to propose to Katherine. And now here they are in 2024, counting down the days until their Wedding Day. Where they can’t wait to celebrate this occasion surrounded by family and friends.
