We’re (finally) getting married!

Once upon a snowstorm… in Texas. Yes, you read that right. It was February 2021, and Texas had decided to surprise everyone with a once-in-a-generation freeze. While most people were wrapped in blankets and hoarding hot cocoa, Stevie and Joseph were busy swiping right on Bumble and fate (or the algorithm) knew what it was doing. The conversation on the app lasted all of three days before Stevie (obviously the bolder one) gave Joseph her number. The rest, as they say, is history. Since then, they’ve spent the last four years building a life full of belly laughs, queso-fueled date nights, vacations, and enough reality TV to make Joseph an honorary 90 Day Fiancé scholar. We’ve also shared our love for live music, going to more concerts together than we can count—each one another soundtrack to our story. Fast-forward to a sunny day at Zilker Park—our favorite little slice of Austin paradise—where Joseph popped the question in the place where so many of our best memories were made. Stevie said yes, and now we’re getting ready to tie the knot in beautiful Mexico, surrounded by our favorite people. Of course, no love story would be complete without the real stars of the show: The Big 3. Wrigley, Ava and Marshall, our beloved dogs who basically run the household. They’re a perfect blend of cuddles, chaos, and canine charisma. And yes, we’re already planning how to include them in the wedding—custom cocktail napkins, anyone?
