Mandie’s POV: Our first date was at Muir Woods. He wanted to impress me, and he did. He knew I’d love the beauty. We were both quietly asking if we were ready to explore life together.

Mandie’s POV: That first date came with a few unexpected hiccups, but it turned out to be imperfectly perfect. We dined in the back of my car, hatch open, backed up to an ocean view.

Testing the waters. At that music event, we realized our Hip Hop and R&B roots ran deep. Another date down, and our fondness for each other only grew.

Mandie’s POV: This was HUGE for me. I’d never brought anyone to the Jet Ski races, let alone The World Finals! I had to see how he’d fit with my Jet Ski family… and he blended in perfectly.

Mandie’s POV: Traveling together became so natural. I just love us. A ‘just because’ photo from our San Diego trip, where I got to know his sister and her family a little more.

Because we’re cool like that!

The beginning of many JEEP adventures. Oh boy!

Mandie’s POV: I’ve never really been a girly girl, but I clean up pretty dang well. Safe to say… he does too!

Mandie’s POV: I don’t think my smile could get any bigger than this. Being immersed in music and dancing with him lights up my world.

See? The Jeep adventures continued. This trip was special… cold, hot, unpredictable, long… but absolutely glorious.

I don’t think we had the Jeep for this one, but it was a beautiful day in Tahoe for hike we would eventually return to in our future!

About a month old and already enjoying mother natures calm breeze!

Any excuse to be outside, our happy little family!

Mandie’s POV: He helped me step up my cowgirl boot game, had to show the off!

Oh, did we mention we also LOVE country music!

Mandie’s POV: Our adventures are our safe spaces. We don’t go out to party, we find peace in solitude.

Maybe we party just a tiny bit when we camp. But really, it’s just a love for music that never quits.

The family trip to Hawaii!

Mandie’s POV: He fell in love with the culture. I fell in love with the music. Different paths, same island.

Honoring our Mexican roots, we went all out for Mateo’s 1st B-day. Papel picados, a taquera, piñata (although he was too small to hit it), family, and music. Bless everyone, it was HOT that day!

We were busy parents with a 1 yr old. But we found time to keep exploring.

Mandie’s POV: As per usual, getting him to take a normal photo was the challenge. But I love him for it!

Mandie’s POV: Ok a stranger taking our photo is what it takes to make him pose normally. Here’s us at Disneyland!

Somewhere out there… Literally our happy place!

Mandie’s POV: We don’t own any live stock yet but he knows that’s my dream. Someday we’ll get these hats and boots a little extra dusty!

Mandie’s POV: I was in disbelief, HE wanted to marry ME?! Lucky me!

“She said yes!”

Mandie’s POV: I’m so grateful for our friends that help organize this special day. I love them so much and really appreciate capturing this once in a lifetime moment!

Our first cruise together, a different kind of adventure but equally wonderful!

Mandie’s POV: This was the day we completed our marriage preparation course through the cathedral. 10 out of 10, I recommend this for anyone getting married. We both grew a lot from this experience!

Blessed, God gave us this MAP to continue our adventures. We were meant for this life!

Fun fact: Did you know we work for the same agency, no we aren’t tired of each other, we actually work great with and around each other!
