How We Met
On January 6, 2022, a snowstorm unexpectedly brought us together. Our best friends, Stephanie and Sean, organized a trip to Nashville for Sean’s sister’s 21st birthday. Although we had heard of each other, Michael and I had never met—he had been stationed in Miami with the U.S. Coast Guard for the past five years.
When our flights were the only ones to land, we met at the airport and waited for the rest of the group. Even through our Covid masks, we couldn’t stop smiling. The connection was instant, and throughout the trip, we found ourselves naturally drawn to one another.
The timing wasn’t quite right, but the spark never faded. After the trip, we stayed in touch, and once life aligned, we decided to give this something real. We officially began dating on April 1, 2022. Long-distance was tough, but we made it work until Michael moved back home in June. Since then, we’ve been inseparable—building a love that all started with a snowstorm.
