Things To Do
There is TONS of things to do in our lovely Willamette Valley! There is hiking and sightseeing galore. Make sure you try an Oregon Pinot at one of the MANY wineries in the area. If Pinots aren't your thing Oregon is also known for Chardonnay that resembles the very best of France! If Wine isn't your thing, there are many Creameries around! Tillamook Cheese Factory is a bit far but worth the drive, and Willamette Valley is a fantastic little place between Salem and Dayton! Their fresh cheese is amazing!
Now, for our families coming to see us I highly recommend the Oregon Zoo! its so much fun and one of My and Christian's favorite places, we even spent his Birthday there last year, and right there in the same area is the Japanese Gardens, and the Rose Gardens! The Evergreen Aviation Museum is home of the Spruce Goose Airplane and has a waterpark with a slide that comes out of a airplane! Serendipity on historic 3rd St in McMinnville is a sweet spot with Brownie Sundaes to die for.
