Cody and Amanda first crossed paths in 2016 at the San Francisco Zoo while working their very first catering event for Google. Amanda was the new girl stepping into her role as a banquet captain, while Cody was one of the chefs behind the scenes. What started as a work shift soon turned into something much more. By 2017, just before Amanda left for her study abroad in Vienna, they made it official. Cody even got his very first passport and took his first-ever flight across the world just to visit her—a trip they’ll never forget. Over the years, they’ve worked side by side on countless events, with Amanda building her career in the wedding industry—witnessing so many beautiful love stories along the way, often with Cody lending a helping hand. After celebrating others’ big days together, they are beyond thrilled that it’s finally their turn to celebrate their own love. In San Francisco, they built a life surrounded by friends and family. They got their first dog, Henny, and soon after, two hermit crabs. Between their love for traveling and partying—whether it’s just the two of them or with their friends—they’ve created a life full of laughter and adventure. Recently, they’ve started a new chapter in San Diego. Now, as they celebrate 10 years together, Cody and Amanda are so excited to begin their forever—and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
