We met in late 2018 working on the same unit at Albany Medical Center. We immediately hit it off and became really good work friends. Over the next couple of months we got super close and couldn’t deny that we were catching feelings for each other. In August of 2019 we finally agreed to hangout outside of work and soon after we officially started dating on August 18, 2019! Since then we have gotten through so much together like the COVID-19 pandemic, graduating our college programs and buying our first house together. We can’t wait to see what else our life will have in store for us!

Weeks prior to our engagement I was told that Josh’s sister was having a celebration dinner at Moscatiello's with friends and family. Josh and I were obviously going to be attending so we spent the entire week shopping for outfits so we would look our best! The day of our engagement I had no idea that the love of my life was going to be asking me to marry him. Our day went on as it normally would, making a late breakfast (as he let me sleep in) and watching our favorite shows up until it was time to get ready. Once we got dressed and ready it was time to get in the car and head to the restaurant. We pulled into the restaurant’s parking lot and headed in hand in hand. I started getting nervous as I felt like everyone was staring at me. The host led Josh and I to the event room where I became in absolute shock. There was a table with rose petals, pictures of us throughout the years and big wooden letters that spelled out WILL YOU MARRY ME? My heart actually stopped in that moment as I was led closer to the table when Josh got on his knee and asked me to marry him. I nodded my head and said yes! I was shaking with adrenaline and excitement as both of our families stormed into the event room! It was definitely a night we will never forget!
